This blog is a place for me to keep track of all the adventures I will be having while working for the MIRL Lab.
My first trek will be to Svalbard! I am attending to three search-coil magnetometer systems in Longyearbyen, Ny-Ålesund, and Isfjord Radio over a three week journey. Hopefully the working out I have been doing, will allow me to dig in the permafrost and avoid the polar bears.
Pictures and stories will abound, I'm sure. Watch this space for updates!
HAHAHAH FIRST COMMENT! You know, Fridtjof Nansen made very short work of some polar bears by using a rifle. I don't think digging will do you much good.
